Does the size of your business matter when it comes to Google SEO?
The answer is no.
This is due to the fact that there is both advantages and disadvantages for big and small companies, when it comes to being well displayed within Google Search Results.
If you run a small business, you are likely to specialise in a specific area, so optimising your web site and it’s pages will be very straight forward. On the other hand, you are not going to be able to generate anywhere near the same amount of web traffic that a larger organisation does OR have anywhere near the same advertising, marketing and pr budgets. Smaller businesses need to develop novel ways of generating traffic away from Google, just to prove they are not solely reliant (or mainly) on Google Search.
If you run a large company, you are likely to have many more facets to your business and in some cases a bespoke website program that might not be exactly to googles’ liking, in so much as – they cannot get the required access to your site that they need. Also, if you have hundreds or thousands of web pages, Google can struggle to fully understand all of your web pages. The process needs to be properly strategised and managed.
Irrespective of your size – if you use your strengths and address your weaknesses, it won’t be long before you are increasing your web traffic on Google Search.
